I think the most interesting image (other than the spider) is the lillypads, the repeated pattern is visually arresting. I would suggest being a little bit more aggressive in bringing out the highlights in your images, it'll make them really pop
I found the 7th photo down of the flower to be super alluring. Even though the background is chaotic, I can't help but to be intrigued by the twirling lines created by the flower.
I really love the bamboo forest one, I think it had one of the most successful lighting. I agree with Alex, I think pushing your highlight in some of these photos would add better contrast.
I love both the bamboo photos! Especially the first one. Crisp, clean, and I get a sense of motion in them which is intriguing. I also think that the lily pad photos are great too, you have a strong sense of repetition in both of these subjects that is striking. I think that it would be interesting for you to explore this. I also think that the bottom and thirdsfrom the bottom could be stronger in terms of light and dark tones to really define the subject. There were other photos in your contacts that I thought were far more successful.
The value contrast in images 2 and 4 is very successful. Both images have a nice range of light, middle, and dark tones. Very clear nature theme for this week's photos

ReplyDeleteI love the one with the Lilly pads and how they seem to bend around the edge of the photo. the only thing I would say is to amp up the contest a bit
