The hulu hoop picture is so dynamic. I think this is a great example of stopped motion. The man spinning the giant ball things is also good. I think so of the backgrounds could have been pushed back slightly, either with blur or making them dark to make some of the subjects stand out more.
For some reason you take really good photos of girls and hula hoops. You did a great job of capturing that moment and freezing time.I'm also digging the photo of the two old buildings. It makes me feel like I'm watching a documentary
Great photos of motion and lighting. I agree that you typically incorporate movement or a sense of movement in your photos very well. I also think that it could benefit some of your photos to push the contrast even more and dodge and burn some areas to make the subjects stand out more.
The hula hoop image is fantastic--really good move (ha) to include it in Project 1. The ninth image of the man walking the dog is also really amusing. The dog's expression contrasted with the man's purposeful stride makes me laugh. I also like how the values are composed in that image. The last image is also composed in an intriguing manner and caught my attention. Good job :]
